Do your part to prevent accidental poisoning, overdoses, and improper use of medications if you have unused or expired medications.
Douglasville Police Department has partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration for the DEA Pill Take Back Day on Saturday April 25 from 10 AM to 2 PM, to help you clean out those medicine cabinets.
U.S. Justice Department Drug Enforcement Administration, Premier Drugstore, Safe Kids, and Cobb/Douglas Public Health, Office of District Attorney will also be participating.
No questions are asked, and no forms or IDs are required.
Liquids/pills are accepted in original containers; pills may also go in plastic clear bags, liquids must stay sealed in original containers.
NO sharps or inhalers will be taken at this event, just medications.
Absolutely no medications are to be dropped off at the police department before or after the scheduled event times.
