Outreach

The Douglasville Police Department believes in the "We are One" philosophy of community policing. Being "one" with our community means reaching out to our citizens and being involved in the life of our community. We sponsor, or participate in many community outreach programs as part of that involvement.

Chief Sparks created the DCOP Program out of the Mission and Core Values of the Police Department. The department's everyday principles are reflected in the daily operations of Law Enforcement, and citizen interaction.
