The Douglasville Police Department is currently accepting applications on an on going basis from dedicated, energetic, self-motivated individuals for the position of police officer.
The basic police academy is ten weeks long, during which the recruits gain legal and operational knowledge to prepare them for the next step. This next step is typically a three month Field Training program on the street.
