The Douglasville Police Department wants to express our gratitude for the men and women in the armed forces who actively serve, or have served in the US Military.

What better way to show our appreciation than a cookout for active duty and veterans to attend a day on our front lawn with their family members?

We hope all current and former military personnel will join us as we celebrate together on August 9, from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.

We will be cooking out hamburgers and hot dogs while playing games on the front lawn. Bring your lawn chairs and Adirondacks to enjoy a warm summer day. We will Veterans information booths as well.
