Bags and cannisters of medication turned in to DEA Pill Take Back Day

Do your part to prevent accidental poisoning, overdoses and improper use of medications if you have unused or expired medications.

Douglasville Police Department has partnered with the Drug Enforcement Administration for the DEA Pill Take Back Day to help you clean out those medicine cabinets.

Premier Drugstore, Safe Kids, and Cobb/Douglas Public Health will also be participating.

No questions are asked, and no forms or IDs are required.

Liquid and pills are accepted.

You can leave your medications in the original containers or empty them into a sealed plastic bag.

NO sharps or inhalers will be taken at this event, just medications.

Absolutely no medications are to be dropped off at the police department before or after the scheduled event times.
